Hi, I'm Aine Rock

“We need to be teaching our boys how to be allies. And one way of doing that is really building emotional competency.” – Annie Warshaw

The pandemic has not hit everyone equally. Women, moms in particular, have been forced out of the workforce in droves. This week’s guest, Annie Warshaw, founded Mission Propelle with the goal of achieving gender justice. Tune in for our conversation on equity, justice, and managing societal expectations.

The pandemic has touched every aspect of our lives, and for women in the workforce, it has been devastating. With kids home learning online, it can be difficult for moms to carve out time to work if they’re fortunate enough to have a work from home option. Annie Warshaw knows this struggle all too well and had to pivot her own business to better serve the needs of her clients.

Annie joined Aine to talk about Mission Propelle, her coaching business that aims to give moms the tools they need to stay in the workforce. She discussed overwhelm, equity, and managing societal expectations. Listen for Annie’s story as well as tips on what you can do to gain some semblance of a work-life balance under extraordinary conditions.
